The Greater Kirkland Chamber of Commerce hosted Investor Sharks Northwest on November 7, 2019, where four entrepreneurs pitched their ideas in front of a live audience to four angel investors.
Tod Johnson, President of the Lee Johnson Auto Family in Kirkland, Washington, was an additional special shark who was there to listen to the fifth pitch from a group of Lake Washington School District Students. The students from the Lake Washington School District have invented a solution to help the blind pour any liquid into any container and know when the container is full.
Lee Johnson Auto Family has been part of the Kirkland community since 1933 and has a long history of commitment and support for youth enrichment. Tod explains why the support of these programs honors the history of Lee Johnson and is so important to him and his company.
